However, as with all parrot species, there is never a guarantee that an individual bird will learn to speak. Brown conures are usually loving pets, as long as they are properly socialized and handled frequently. Brown-throated chats tend to prefer one family member to socialize with instead of interacting with multiple individuals. Brown parakeets can be noisy and often have destructive behavior.
